Innovation for future mobile device interaction

Before Mobile Phones had been connected to the internet, development was primarily focused on smaller and lighter cellular products. Yet the diminshing size coupled with an increase in the number and complexity of functions and features had already reached a point where compromises were being made with interface solutions which was adversely affecting their ease of use.

This proactive investigation into potential future use-case scenarios focused on developing alternative approaches to interaction based on new and emerging technologies. Aimed at future generations of wireless communications products a number of scenarios were presented in an interactive tool to capture the anticipated interaction modalities and issues that would need to be addressed by R&D.
