Strijp-S, a 66-acre former industrial site that once belonged to Philips is being developed into an inspiring creative quarter close to the city centre of Eindhoven. Philips Design was engaged by the city council to set the strategic direction for an innovation lighting plan for the areas and to develop a set of ‘experience scenarios’: examples of how people in the future would experience the public lighting of Strijp-S as they go about their daily lives.
